Responsibilities
- Coordinate Shipping & Receiving: Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Vendor Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for freight carriers and 3PL providers to resolve any logistical issues.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records in our ERP system, including tracking numbers, delivery status, and inventory counts.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and assist in cycle counts to prevent discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain process and propose solutions to increase efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all shipping documentation complies with federal and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
