Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 innovation roadmap integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing paradigms
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams through agile discovery-to-delivery cycles
- Identify emerging technology disruptions and competitive threats through horizon scanning
- Develop patentable IP portfolios with 95%+ technical feasibility validation
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in rapid prototyping methodologies
- Drive open-source initiatives to accelerate industry-wide innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation with 3+ years in quantum/AI leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent patents)
- Proven track record of delivering 5+ commercialized innovations
- Expertise in TRIZ methodology and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong Python/R proficiency with data modeling capabilities
- Experience securing SBIR grants or corporate innovation funding
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
