Responsibilities
- Tier 1 Helpdesk Support: Assist end-users with hardware and software troubleshooting via phone, email, and in-person.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on desktop computers, laptops, printers, and network peripherals.
- Software Deployment: Assist in the installation, configuration, and updates of operating systems and business applications.
- Network Assistance: Help troubleshoot connectivity issues and configure local area network (LAN) settings for new employees.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Asset Management: Track equipment inventory and assist in the lifecycle management of IT assets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required, but internships or academic projects in IT are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and think critically under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends during critical system updates.
