Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps forecasting 3-5 year industry disruptions
- Conduct scenario planning for technological adoption impacts across global markets
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping of future-facing solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting technology deployment timelines
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution and its business implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of successfully launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI, blockchain, or biotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Strong understanding of global regulatory landscapes affecting technology adoption
