Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 10-year strategic foresight framework for 2026+ industry disruption
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to identify emerging threats/opportunities
- Author quarterly trend briefings on exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Design and validate future-proof business models for climate-positive transformation
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Mentor a cross-functional team of futurists and data scientists
- Present strategic roadmaps to global leadership and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into billion-dollar market opportunities
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP, Foresight Practitioner)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
