Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology adoption patterns across AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-gen product ecosystems using scenario planning and predictive modeling
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term market forecasts
- Present visionary insights at global forums and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
- Build and lead a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and domain experts
- Drive R&D partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports or patents in emerging tech domains
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and quantitative trend forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology transformation
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Portfolio of published forecasts that accurately predicted major tech shifts
