Responsibilities
- Map and analyze emerging technology trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future-proofing business models
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing concepts
- Advise leadership on disruptive market shifts and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain a global network of futurist thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record in horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) preferred
