Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder presentations on emerging trends and competitive landscapes
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight ecosystem including horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global futurist conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (articles, books, reports)
- Experience working with executive leadership in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
