Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast developments through 2026
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks to guide product innovation and market positioning
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare the organization for multiple future states
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future insights into actionable development roadmaps
- Establish and maintain relationships with futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present compelling future narratives to stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) or equivalent training
