Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ foresight ecosystem, scanning horizon signals across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Design and implement innovation pipelines converting future scenarios into R&D roadmaps
- Lead strategic workshops with Fortune 500 partners to co-create next-gen solutions
- Author annual futures reports and trend briefings consumed by global stakeholders
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with P&L responsibility
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking and agile innovation methodologies
- Represent the company at global forums on emerging technology ethics and governance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and exponential technology frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum applications, neurotech
- Experience leading cross-continental teams with distributed innovation workflows
- Published thought leader with 500+ citations in futures/innovation literature
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning platforms)
