Our multidisciplinary team operates from a state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco's Tech Quarter, collaborating with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions to pioneer breakthroughs in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech ecosystems. You'll report directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and designers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic roadmap for emerging technology adoption across 15+ industry verticals
- Lead scenario planning initiatives analyzing socio-technological shifts and their business implications
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into product development cycles and corporate strategy
- Curate and host quarterly Future Forums thought leadership events with industry luminaries
- Author whitepapers and trend reports disseminated to our global network of innovation partners
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget for experimental R&D projects
- Mentor junior futurists through our FutureThink incubator program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting at Fortune 1000 companies
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling ability with 50+ keynote presentations at global conferences
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation journals (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Fluency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, etc.) and analytical tools
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology commercialization initiatives
