- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market adaptation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable foresight
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and strategic pivots
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting industry disruptions (provide case studies)
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with data visualization expertise
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
