Responsibilities
- Lead Architecture & Engineering: Design and implement the core technical roadmap for the 2026 digital platform, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Team Management: Mentor and guide a diverse engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and agile development.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, designers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime and sub-second response times during high-traffic events.
- Legacy Modernization: Overhaul existing systems to support the integration of AR/VR experiences and real-time data analytics for the 2026 event.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go; extensive experience with Microservices and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure: Strong background in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
