Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate next-gen products and services
- Present foresight frameworks to executive leadership and investor boards
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Establish industry-wide thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar professional designation required
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method)
