Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks using AI-driven analytics and scenario planning
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Produce visionary whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning InnovateFutures as an industry authority
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges
- Establish global partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to accelerate foresight capabilities
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic curiosity across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review/MIT Press preferred)
- Experience managing global teams and cross-cultural stakeholder engagement
