Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech fusion, climate tech) targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on the future of human-machine collaboration
- Advise C-suite on technology disruption risks and opportunities for the 2025-2027 timeframe
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, startup, and corporate innovation partners
- Design and facilitate future-focused workshops for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market horizons
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting methodologies, and patent landscaping
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, etc.)
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFTE, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
