Responsibilities
- Anticipate global tech and societal trends through horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to generate breakthrough concepts and validate future opportunities
- Present actionable insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies for disruptive threats
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend extrapolation
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures clearly
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Portfolio of future-strategy projects demonstrating impact
