Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional foresight initiatives to identify emerging trends and disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for exponential technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future intelligence into corporate strategy and innovation pipelines
- Curate and present foresight insights to global stakeholders including investors, policymakers, and industry leaders
- Architect ethical governance frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation accelerators
- Produce forward-looking white papers and thought leadership for industry publications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies or government agencies on long-term strategy
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Global perspective with cross-cultural competency in emerging markets
