Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions
- Analyze patent landscapes and competitive intelligence to identify first-mover advantages
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 innovators
- Present technology forecasts and investment proposals to the board of directors
- Drive innovation sprints focused on quantum-AI hybrid systems and decentralized networks
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring tech adoption ROI and sustainability impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record leading $10M+ digital transformation initiatives
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI ethics, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with a specialization in Innovation
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Harvard Business Review on future tech trends
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and patent analysis methodologies
- Experience scaling tech teams across international markets (APAC/EMEA preferred)
