Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technology adoption aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging innovations
- Build partnerships with research institutions and startups in frontier tech sectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting and implementing future-facing technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or strategic foresight
