Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, bio-integrated AI, neurotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic insights to Fortune 500 clients and executive stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints focused on solving 2026-specific challenges (climate resilience, neural interfaces)
- Mentor junior strategists in future-casting methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on horizon scanning/futures research
- Proven track record of launching products/services based on 5-year technology forecasts
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (scenario planning, Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption and innovation strategy
