Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology adoption roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic integration
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to detect disruptive trends 3-5 years ahead
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to executive stakeholders
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping of future solutions
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and industry position papers
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for pilot projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience with scenario planning and technology roadmapping frameworks
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong network with venture capital and academic research communities
