Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing and AI integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping climate adaptation technologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech trends and ethical implications
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and international bodies
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications and policy forums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech R&D
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to commercial viability
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or carbon capture tech
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Security clearance eligibility for federal collaborations
