Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech integration)
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis on emerging tech trends and patent landscapes
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology visions to investors and board members securing $50M+ innovation budgets
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biometric systems
- Mentor a team of 15 technologists and futurists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact on product launches post-2020
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE ACM or Nature on emerging tech implications
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for R&D initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, synthetic biology, or decentralized networks
- Track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to $100M+ valuations
- Top 1% technical acumen with fluency in Python, Kubernetes, and blockchain architectures
