Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) into core business functions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research in emerging tech verticals
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Oversee prototype development and pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully implementing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario analysis capabilities
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Published thought leadership in future technologies or innovation journals
