Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro interfaces)
- Champion innovation through hackathons and cross-functional prototyping sprints
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a team of 5+ futurists and technology specialists
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscape for strategic opportunities
- Manage innovation portfolio with $5M+ annual R&D budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record developing 5-year+ technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams of 10+ professionals
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (patents, journals)
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, Porter's Five)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
