Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, biotech, Web3, etc.) to create 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead ideation workshops with stakeholders to prioritize 2026-focused innovation initiatives
- Develop ROI models for futuristic technologies, balancing risk and opportunity
- Forge partnerships with startups, research labs, and academic institutions
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board and investor committees
- Oversee pilot programs for cutting-edge technologies with measurable KPIs
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and strategic foresight preferred
