Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize innovation portfolios and resource allocation
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for future market landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and lead a cross-functional Future Tech Task Force
- Represent company at global tech summits and industry foresight forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating to business impact
- Expertise in emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite/Boards
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, keynotes)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
