Responsibilities
- Conduct Candidate Screening: Receive and filter incoming resumes and applications, conducting initial phone screenings to match candidates with open positions.
- Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on the status of their job orders.
- Database Management: Maintain and update our applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information and interview schedules.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, ensuring all parties are prepared and punctual.
- Market Research: Research potential client industries in the Columbus area to identify new business opportunities.
- Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for temporary and contract employees to ensure a smooth transition.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior recruitment experience required; we provide full training for entry-level candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, outgoing demeanor.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn applicant tracking software.
- Drive: A self-starter attitude with a desire to learn, grow, and meet monthly recruitment targets.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as business needs require.
