Responsibilities
- Tier 1 Help Desk Support: Assist employees with technical issues via ticketing systems, including password resets, software installation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Hardware & Software Management: Perform basic configuration and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Network Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network connectivity issues and assist in maintaining local area network (LAN) integrity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures in the company knowledge base.
- Vendor Liaison: Communicate effectively with external vendors regarding service requests and hardware procurement.
- Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on the latest IT trends and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ certification is a strong plus, but not required for entry-level consideration.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and network concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues methodically.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends if necessary for project deadlines.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
