Join our award-winning design team for an exciting 6-month contract opportunity in Detroit. We're seeking a passionate UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive digital experiences for Fortune 500 clients. This hybrid role requires 3 days/week in our downtown Detroit studio, with flexibility for remote work. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex requirements into user-centered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web/mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Develop design systems and maintain component libraries
- Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Contribute to design strategy and user journey mapping
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience with portfolio showcasing mobile/web projects
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, testing)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
- Experience with agile development methodologies
