Responsibilities
- Resolve Technical Issues: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity problems for a diverse client base.
- Ticket Management: Prioritize and manage the IT helpdesk ticket queue efficiently, ensuring 24/7 uptime.
- On-Site Support: Provide hands-on technical assistance and hardware setup/removal as required on weekends.
- System Maintenance: Perform critical system updates, patch management, and security audits during off-hours.
- User Training: Assist end-users with software applications and best practices for IT security.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent IT certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environments.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and be on-call during business hours if necessary.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure with minimal supervision.
