Responsibilities
- Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for web applications using JavaScript, Python, or React.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and product managers in an Agile environment to define features and solve complex technical problems.
- Testing & Debugging: Assist in unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting issues to ensure high application stability.
- Documentation: Create clear technical documentation, API specs, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Database Management: Support the design and implementation of relational databases (SQL) and data modeling.
- Innovation: Research emerging technologies and best practices to improve existing systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and web frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and version control (Git).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Able to commit to a 6-month contract period based in San Francisco.
