Responsibilities
- Architect fail-safe autonomous navigation systems using multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR, radar, computer vision)
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications
- Design ethical AI governance frameworks for edge-case decision-making protocols
- Lead integration of neuromorphic computing processors for real-time path optimization
- Collaborate with urban planners to deploy adaptive traffic flow algorithms
- Validate system resilience through simulated extreme weather and cyberattack scenarios
- Document technical specifications for ISO 26262 compliance certification
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Robotics, AI, or Mechatronics with 5+ years AV systems experience
- Proficiency in C++/Python with ROS 2.0 and CUDA development
- Deep understanding of ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and SAE J3016 standards
- Expertise in sensor calibration algorithms and SLAM optimization
- Published research in autonomous vehicle safety or ethical AI frameworks
- Familiarity with quantum computing principles (Qiskit experience preferred)
- Track record of scaling autonomous systems from prototype to production
