Responsibilities
- Lead Architectural Design: Spearhead the design and implementation of scalable quantum architectures that integrate seamlessly with classical AI workflows.
- Algorithm Development: Develop and optimize quantum algorithms to enhance data processing speeds and accuracy for enterprise applications.
- Hardware-Software Co-Design: Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure quantum processors are utilized to their maximum potential through advanced software layers.
- Error Mitigation: Design and deploy robust error correction protocols and mitigation strategies to maintain system integrity in noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) environments.
- Technical Strategy: Define the long-term technical roadmap for our quantum infrastructure, keeping pace with rapid advancements in the field.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior architects and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent years of experience in quantum computing.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software architecture, specifically within high-performance computing or quantum information science.
- Programming Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of quantum gates, qubits, superposition, and entanglement; experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, multi-disciplinary technical problems with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
