Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for AI applications in healthcare, climate modeling, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI technologies including neural-symbolic integration
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Partner with policy think tanks to shape future AI legislation and standards
- Author white papers on emerging technologies for industry summits and academic journals
- Drive innovation sprints to validate futuristic concepts through rapid prototyping
- Mentor junior researchers in interdisciplinary AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with focus on AI ethics
- 8+ years of experience in AI research with 3+ years in strategic planning
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on AI or cognitive architectures
- Deep expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of translating theoretical models into commercial applications
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
