Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with NIST and EU AI Act standards
- Lead bias mitigation initiatives across machine learning pipelines and generative AI tools
- Conduct risk assessments for high-stakes AI deployments in healthcare and finance sectors
- Develop stakeholder communication strategies for ethical AI transparency initiatives
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into MLOps workflows
- Establish industry benchmarks for responsible AI deployment metrics
- Advocate for ethical AI principles at regulatory and industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech roles
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ISO 42001)
- Experience with bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM Fairness 360)
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Published research on AI accountability or algorithmic transparency
- Experience collaborating with legal and product development teams
