Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the end-to-end architecture of scalable AI and machine learning systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define the technical vision and roadmap for the 2026 Horizon Initiative, aligning technical goals with business objectives.
- Team Mentorship: Lead a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Technology Stack Management: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, ensuring the adoption of best practices in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks early in the development lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Strong understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of leading strategic technical initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize for scalability and efficiency.
