Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast tech trajectories for 2026+ (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable projects
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our innovation labs
- Present trend briefings to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist thought leaders and academic partners
- Author white papers on emerging tech ethics and governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in forecasting disruptive technologies (3+ validated predictions)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation pipeline development
