- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers for collaborative research
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish KPIs for innovation success and track progress against 2026 milestones
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership, with 5+ at director level
- Proven experience launching commercialized technologies in regulated industries
- Expertise in emerging fields: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem and venture capital community
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Stage-Gate, Lean Startup)
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership on future-of-technology topics
