Responsibilities
- Lead quarterly horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain the '2026 Strategic Roadmap' integrating quantum computing, AGI, and climate tech projections
- Collaborate with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into R&D pipelines
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive leadership and board committees
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend validation
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing corporate investment decisions
- Mentor junior analysts in predictive modeling and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or technology consulting
- Expertise in emerging tech forecasting (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Published research or thought leadership on long-term technological trends
- Experience advising C-suite on paradigm shifts and market inflection points
- Strong network with futurist communities and academic research institutions
