Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-readiness into organizational DNA
- Produce annual Horizon Scanning Reports identifying emerging threats/opportunities
- Design innovation frameworks for sustainable urban development and climate-tech solutions
- Coordinate global think-tanks with MIT, Stanford, and World Economic Forum partners
- Mentor next-generation futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI governance, space economics, or neurotech
- Proven ability to translate complex scenarios into executable business strategies
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive and stakeholder audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational future-proofing initiatives
