Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum machine learning frameworks
- Optimize quantum circuit performance for real-world industry applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems integration
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm development
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Deep knowledge of superconducting qubit technologies
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 500 qubits
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
