Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging academic research and commercial applications
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design scalable innovation frameworks for sustainable product development cycles
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-ready strategies into organizational DNA
- Curate and manage an ecosystem of startup collaborations and university partnerships
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of launching products from future-tech concepts to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner) or equivalent
- Experience building innovation pipelines in regulated industries (healthcare, energy, or finance)
- Prior work with venture capital or corporate venture arms
- PhD or Master's in relevant technical field preferred
