Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR integration) and their commercial viability post-2025
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and validate futuristic product concepts
- Conduct competitive intelligence and patent landscape analysis for next-gen tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage partnerships with research institutions and technology incubators
- Author thought leadership pieces on future technology trends and their societal impact
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and implementing future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, bioinformatics, autonomous systems)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and risk assessment
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) preferred
