Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed research papers for top-tier journals and conferences
- Prototype quantum neural networks using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom simulators
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers and interns in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science (required)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
