Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2025-2030 horizon) through market research, patent analysis, and academic partnerships
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing adoption and decentralized AI systems
- Lead quarterly innovation workshops with executive teams to align strategy with future opportunities
- Author whitepapers on sustainable tech transitions and ethical AI governance
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions using AR/VR and neural interfaces
- Represent the company at global futurism forums (e.g., World Future Society, Singularity Summit)
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning and trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and Web3 ecosystems
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-cultural innovation teams with agile methodologies
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston) or equivalent
