Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors impacting 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops with cross-functional teams
- Build and maintain a proprietary knowledge base of future-critical trends and signals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate foresight findings into product roadmaps
- Author compelling future-state narratives and visualizations for stakeholder alignment
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and futurist networks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Exceptional research skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing long-term strategy
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published thought leadership
