Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year strategic roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological and societal forecasts
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across emerging domains (AI, quantum, neurotech, climate resilience)
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and innovation pipelines
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership positioning the company as a 2026 pioneer
- Advise executive leadership on investment opportunities in nascent technologies with 5-7 year ROI horizons
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, sustainable tech, or neuro-interfaces
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in scenario-planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published forecasts or strategic frameworks implemented by Fortune 500 companies
- Global perspective with experience navigating cross-cultural innovation ecosystems
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
