Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Present trend forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Co-vent with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Author thought leadership pieces on emerging industry paradigms
- Manage innovation incubation programs for next-gen business models
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic and research institutions
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario modeling and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience with Delphi methods and horizon scanning techniques
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or strategies
- Ability to synthesize global data into actionable insights
